How to reach Puri by Train?
Puri is well connected by railways. Puri has good railway station with Waiting room, cloakroom and hygienic washrooms.
There are so many direct trains available from each corner of India for Puri. Viz. Delhi, Okha (Gujarat), Ahmedabad, Valsad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ajmer, etc. Indian railway also provides special yatra trains for Puri.
If direct trains are not available from your city in that case, you can book trains for Bhubaneshwar or Kolkata.

After reaching Puri railway station you can easily book a cab, Auto, Pedal auto, or E-Rickshaw for a Hotel, Dharma Shala, Guest house, or Directly to the temple.

How to reach Puri by Road?
If you want to come to Puri by road you must come to Bhubaneshwar first. Bhubaneshwar is well connected golden quadrilateral national highway.
Puri is 60 KM away from Bhubaneshwar so it will take you around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Puri from Bhubaneshwar.
The Bhubaneshwar to Puri Road journey is very beautiful and green, this road also has good options for restaurants and hotels.
Now, once you reach Puri you cannot take your car or bus directly to the temple you can park it somewhere in the parking, and if you are traveling in a tourist bus you must park your bus in the parking which is located outside the city.
Puri is have a good tourist bus stand for parking tourist vehicles for several days which is well organized.
You can take your car inside the city and park it in the parking near the temple.
If you are traveling by public transport, you need not worry about anything. Buses will drop you near the temple at the bus stand and from there you can book Rikshaw for the temple or Hotel.
Bhubaneshwar to Puri AC buses are charging max. of 150 INR.

Puri does not have its Airport, but Odisha’s capital Bhubaneshwar has an international airport facility with very good domestic air connectivity.
So, if you want to travel by air you must come to Bhubaneshwar and then you can book a cab for Puri.
If you are traveling to Puri from outside India, you can get good connectivity to Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, or Bengaluru, and from there to Bhubaneshwar.

If you want big, hygienic, and luxurious hotels with a higher budget you can find hotels near Niladri beach. Here you will get sea-facing rooms too. The temple will be 15 min away by rickshaw.
For others, Puri has good Dharmashalas starting from 200 INR per night. And so on.
